Tap has evolved as an American dance form, popularised throughout the world. The dancer uses their feet to strike the floor, beating out different rhythms, with dancers wearing tap shoes which have small metal plates on the toe and heel to give the distinctive sound. Tap dance is a theatrical art form often seen on stage in musicals.

Using vibrant, energetic and fun syllabus combinations, students are developed through high quality, tried and tested grades.

The ISTD Tap syllabus is tried and tested and provides vibrant, energetic and fun grades full of exercises, dances, and amalgamations developing the student. Miss Natalie is a fully qualified Associate member of the ISTD and delivers the Tap syllabus for all ages and levels up to and including Advanced.

First Position students are entered for ISTD Tap Exams in Bournemouth throughout their training, should they wish to take part in this form of grading and progression.
