My daughter Isabelle started dancing with Natalie almost two years ago now, and I am very impressed with the school and Natalie's teaching abilities. It is very rare to find such a professional, caring and excellent teacher. She is totally devoted to all her pupils and has a natural ability to teach and has an amazing control with the children. All of the children adore her, she has such a genuine warmth for everybody.
Last year Isabelle performed in one of First Position's school productions. She enjoyed herself immensely and is eager to perform again! There was no pressure upon the children just an enormous amount of fun. I took my mother, who was a professional dancer and choreographer, I had told her it was a children's production and not to criticize!! She couldn't have been more surprised and was totally impressed with the whole production and thought the choreography was excellent. A very professional production.

Our children have attended the First Position School of dance for the last four years under the direction of Miss Natalie Pearl. Natalie has helped them to become confident, determined and inspired. Pure Funk has frequently worked with First Position pupils and workshop leader/choreographer Exlis Staddon teaches a weekly class for the school.
The pupils are always fun and inspiring to work with, many of whom took part in Pure Funk's summer 2006 production "Let the Funk Begin".
Pupils show great enthusiasm in our classes/workshops and always achieve a high standard of professionalism in performance; these being the reasons several pupils are part of the junior and senior dance crews.
