School Show

Every other year at First Position a professional dance production is collaborated at the Barrington Theatre. The performance is devised, choreographed, directed and produced by Miss Natalie giving all pupils, age 3–18 the opportunity to perform on stage.

The show is run as a professional production with full lighting, scenery, costumes and backstage crew. The costumes are designed by Miss Natalie, with Jeanie Palfrey of 'Pearly Pumpkin co' also designing and making many of the unique costumes.

Like everything at First Position the family environment is at its strongest when presenting a show! Parents love becoming involved, as much as the children do, with all truly valuing the experience.

The backstage crew is made up of family and close friends, all of whom are involved in the performance industry, helping the show to run professionally and smoothly, making it an enjoyably experience for all the children.

The show's memories are cherished forever, as the younger children watch and perform alongside the older pupils, dreaming of what they will one day be able to do and be!
